A traffic payment is due in the Clerk's office within 30 days of receipt of the citation. Payments received, regardless of postmark, or made after the compliance date will incur an additional late fee.


*Even if you are guilty of the offense, you may elect traffic school to keep it off your record, avoid the points and prevent the ticket from raising your insurance rates.

The reduced fee payment (listed here) is due in the Clerk's office within 30 days of receipt of the citation along with the Traffic School Affidavit below , then you will be granted an extra 60 days to attend a driver improvement school in the State of Florida.  You may complete the school first as long as the ticket is still paid with 30 day of receipt of the citation. Anyone who does not hold a Commercial Driver License (CDL) may elect traffic school.

You may only elect this option once within a 12 month period and no more than 5 times in your lifetime.
